Chobe National Park
The Chobe National Park, which is the second largest national park in Botswana and covers 10,566 square kilometres, it has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent, particularly elephant. The park is divided into four distinctly different eco systems:
Serondela with its lush plains and dense forests in the Chobe River area in the extreme north-east; the Savuti Marsh in the west;
the Linyanti Swamps in the north-west
the hot dry hinterland in between.

Savuti boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife left on the African continent. Animals are present during all seasons, and at certain times of the year their numbers can be staggering.  Sauvuti is particularly famous for its resident Lion and spotted hyena populations.

Central Kalahari Game Reserve
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve has no permanent surface water, but unlike the image of most deserts, the Kalahari is well vegetated with a wide variety of habitats including acacia trees and areas of flat grasslands that seem to stretch forever.
The Park is huge, 60,000 square kilometres (23,166 miles2) in total area, a fact which makes it the world's second largest conservancy. The park is home to Springbok and Gemsbok, Blue Wildebeest, Eland, Red Hartebeest, plus Cheetah, Lion, Leopard, both Brown and Spotted Hyena, and Wild Dog, giraffe, meerkat (Suricate), Ostrich, eland, jackals and Porupine.
There are also scattered popualtions of San bushmen.
