Getting There

By Air

Air France is the main European airline serving the country, with Africa there are regular flights to Benin and Cameroon.

The main airport is Bangui M'Poko 7 km from the city of Bangui, taxis are available to the city.

By Water

There are ferries to the congo, although the service is unreliable due to political instability and frequent breakdowns.

By water

Ferries run from Bangui upriver to several towns.

By Road

Traffic drives on the right.  There are few tar roads and many roads become impassable in the rainy season.  Petrol shortages are common, it is advisable to carry as much spare fuel as possible.
