Casablanca:
Casablanc is a relatively new city, by Moroccan standards, the Hassan II Mosque is the worlds largest.
Rabat:
One of Moroccos former capitals. Gateway of the Ambassadors and Oudias Kasbah gateway are monumental gateways. The Hassan tower is a 12th century minaret from an unfinished mosque. The Royal Palace, the Chellah, has beautiful gardens, monuments and Roman ruins. The forest at Mamora and local beaches are popular, especialy in the summer. The battlements around the city are from the 12th century, and Rabat's twin city Sale, on the opposite side of the river dates from the 11th century.
Fes
The oldest and most impressive the imperial cities, it is packed with places to visit. The city is actually made up from 2 towns, (El Bali and Jadid), Fès is famous for the Nejjarine Square and Fountain, the Er Rsif and Andalous (Al-Andalus) mosques, the Royal Palace, the Kasbah and Karaouine (Al-Qarawiyin) University and the Dar Batha Museum. The old part of Fès (Fès El Bali) still retains the magical, bustling atmosphere of an ancient time and it is centred around the two famous mosques of Al-Qarawiyin and Al-Andalus.
Volubilis
The ropman ruins here are part of UNESCO's world heritage sites. They date to the third century.
Marrkech
known as the "pink city" due to the colour of the buildings, made from local earth. The city is a labyrinth of alleyways, markets, museums and mosques. At nighttime visit Djemaa el-Fna (Place of the Dead), which alive with activity and music. The medina which contains theBen Youssef Medersa is a world heritage site. The Bahina Palace, Saadian tombs, Aquedal gardens and camel market are all also worth a visit.
