Getting There

By Air

The national airline is Royal Air Maroc.  the premier internationl airport is Casablanca Mohammed V (CMN), the airport is 30 km / 19 miles from the airport.  It is a 3 hour flight time from the UK.  Taxis are available to the city from the aiport, anf train services run to Rabat. 

Other airports include: Tangier (Boukhalef Souahel (TNG), Fez (FEZ), Marrakech (RAK) and Rabat-Salé (RBA)

Getting Around

By Air

The National carrier, Royal Air Maroc operates regular services from Casablanca airport to Agadir, Dakhla, Fès, Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Oujda and Tangier.

By Rail

The network runs from Oujda in the northeast to Casablanca on the west coast, Tangier on the north coast and Fès and Marrakech in the interior. The most useful route is from Fès to Rabat and Casablanca, with five daily and two overnight trains. There are also two daily trains and one overnight train (without sleepers) which run from Casablanca to Marrakech. Also, from Monday to Friday, a train runs every 30 minutes from Kenitra to Rabat.  The network is one of the cheapest in the world.

By Road

Traffic drives on the right. Roads in the north of the country are very good, in the Atlas Mountains roads acn become impassable in winter.  Car hire can be quite expensive.  Buses are cheap and frequent but can be crowded. Metered taxis run in major towns and cities, special shared taxis run between destinations.
