By Air

The main airline is virgin nigeria.  The main international airport is Lagos (LOS) which is 22km from the city.  Taxis are available to the city.  There have been some problems with bogus immigration officials and pic pocets at this airport.

kano airport (KAN) is 8 km from the city and taxis are available.

By Water

The main ports are Lagos and Port Harcourt.

By Road

There are road links, with Benin, Niger (trans-sahara highway), Cameroon and Chad
