Zimbabwe Dollar (Z$) = 100 cents. Notes are in denominations of Z$500, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and 2. Coins are in denominations of Z$5, 2 and 1, and 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1 cents.
Very unstable currency and economy. Very weak. Very difficult to get money out with credit cards at banks and ATM's - not advisable.

Banking – 08:30 until14:00 except for Wednesdays (close 11:00), Saturdays (close 11:00).

Airmail to Europe takes around one week
Harare, Buklawayo and Victoria Falls have internet, minly vailable through backpackers lodges, and hotels.
Mobile phones have limited coverage outside of major urban centres
International phone calls can be made from must towns and cities.
